Wallis Cycles

Wallis Cycles was established in 1993, in Hennel Lane, by Martin Wallis. His aim was to provide the surrounding area with a shop to provide for family and commuting cycling needs.

The shop has grown year on year, taking on some more stock, and more specialist products as we have grown. In 2003 we sponsored the Recycling.co.uk Pro-Team, providing them with bikes and equipment. In 2005 we took on the Scott Dealership, and we now stock bikes from all over the World. From Italy:- Colnago, Wilier, Cipollini, Basso, Cinelli, from Europe, Germany:- Storck, Czech Rep:- Superior, Austria:- KTM, The US:- Transition, Australia: REID, and the UK:- Dawes, Claud Butler, Genesis, Ridgeback, and our in-house Grommet, Guild and Wallis Custom bikes.

The race team has provided the platform for over 25 National Champions, with one European Champions, Ella Sadler-Andrews, and European Silver Medal Triathlete. World Champions Charlie Tanfield and Steven Burke MBE have both worn teamwallis colours. The team provides coaching, equipment and logistical support, as well as financial backing for the riders. We have mentored over 25 riders to make the grade as professional riders, with many competing in races home and abroad, such as Tour Series on ITV4, and the National Premier Calendar and Junior Road Race Series. You will see ex-riders such as Harry Tanfield, James Gullen, Matt Holmes and Tom Moses at events such as these and the Tour of Britain. teamwallis Graduate Steve Williams (Israel Premier Tech) won the Tour of Britain (2024) after riding Le Tour earlier.

With the experience of riding all disciplines, and building bikes and helping coach the above riders, we think we are in a unique position to help you with your cycling journey.
